The Stanley Brothers: storia e stile musicale

I The Stanley Brothers erano un duo americano di bluegrass composto dai fratelli Carter e Ralph Stanley. Attivi dal 1946 al 1966, hanno suonato insieme con la loro band, The Clinch Mountain Boys, creando un sound che ha influenzato profondamente il genere. Dopo la morte di Carter nel 1967, Ralph ha continuato a esibirsi sotto il nome di The Stanley Brothers fino alla sua morte nel 2016.
