Nine Inch Nails' Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross have announced their return to the concert stage this fall with the launch of the inaugural Future Ruins festival, a new event with a unique focus on film and television composers.
The announcement came after the band teased a website for Future Ruins via social media on May 13. The use of the word festival in their social media handles across Instagram, X, TikTok, and YouTube hinted at something more expansive than a traditional concert.
Future Ruins is described as a first-of-its-kind music festival where influential film and TV composers will perform live. According to the official website, the event will be held on Saturday, November 8 at the Los Angeles Equestrian Center, and will take place across three stages.
Designed to be thoughtful and immersive, the festival will allow these composers to reimagine their work for live audiences. Performances will range from electronic sets and live bands to orchestral arrangements. The lineup features a number of acclaimed composers, including:
