A limited edition white vinyl reissue of David Bowie and Mick Jagger’s collaborative single *Dancing In The Street* has been released to celebrate its 40th anniversary.
The iconic duet, originally recorded in 1985, was a cover of the Motown classic written by Marvin Gaye, William Stevenson, and Ivy Jo Hunter. Bowie and Jagger released the track as a charity single to support Live Aid, a global music event organized to raise funds for famine relief in Ethiopia.
The song’s music video was famously screened just before Bowie performed live at Wembley Stadium during the Live Aid concert. Over the years, the track has become a memorable symbol of the collaboration between two of rock's most celebrated figures.
The white vinyl edition marks a significant milestone for the single and offers collectors and fans a new opportunity to commemorate the historic release.
