Bring Me The Horizon might be heading back to the US for a tour in 2025, just before taking a well-deserved break. The Sheffield metal band is already set to headline Reading & Leeds Festival 2025 alongside Chappell Roan, Travis Scott, and Hozier, and they have two confirmed performances at Rock Am Ring and Rock Im Park in Germany.
However, in a recent interview with Rotherham Radio, drummer Mat Nicholls hinted at more shows on the horizon:
“The idea this year was to have some time off because we’ve literally been non-stop since COVID. We put a record out last year, played constant shows… We’ve ended up with a couple of German festivals, Reading & Leeds, and hopefully, we’re going to America at the end of the year. And that’s it!”
If confirmed, this would be the band's first US tour since the summer of 2023, before the release of ‘Nex Gen’, their latest installment in the Post Human series, which NME named one of the Best Albums of 2024. Frontman Oli Sykes also spoke last year about the need to take a break:
“We need time to recharge because we haven’t stopped. The last time was only because of lockdown, and even then, we kept working. It doesn’t feel like we’ve had a real break. It’s going to get to a point where it affects the band and our creativity.”
New ‘Wonderwall’ Cover & Brit Awards Nomination In the meantime, BMTH recently released a cover of Oasis’ ‘Wonderwall’ for the Spotify Singles series. Even Liam Gallagher himself reacted positively, saying:
“I fucking LOVE it.”
Additionally, the band has been nominated for Group of the Year at the Brit Awards 2025, competing against Coldplay, The Cure, Ezra Collective, and The Last Dinner Party. Last year, they won Best Alternative/Rock Act at the ceremony. Now, fans are eagerly waiting to see if the US tour will be officially announced before the band takes their long-awaited break.
