Ghost has officially launched the U.S. leg of their 2025 Skeletour in support of their latest album Skeletá, which earlier this year gave the band their first-ever No. 1 on the Billboard 200.
The opening night took place on July 9 at the CFG Bank Arena in Baltimore, Maryland, where the band performed a 22-song set including a three-song encore.
Two older songs made notable returns to the setlist: Per Aspera Ad Inferi, played live for the first time since 2019, and Satan Prayer, which hadn’t been performed since 2020.
From the new album Skeletá, fans were treated to four live debuts: Lachryma, Peacefield, Satanized, and Umbra.
Ghost brought their signature theatrical stage production, delivering a mesmerizing and extravagant performance that reinforces their reputation as one of rock’s most visually captivating bands.
The tour kickoff came just days after frontman Papa V Perpetua took part in the Back to the Beginning concert on July 5 in Birmingham, England. During the tribute to Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath, he performed Bark at the Moon in front of a stadium full of metal fans in the birthplace of heavy metal.
