In France, in 1899 Jean-Marc Côté and other artists drew and published a series of etchings that portray the world and the technology in the year 2000. Weird, nice and interesting, they show us how, one hundred years ago, a group of dreamers used to imagine our daily reality. From mechanical barbers to seagull fishing, fantasy lets us dwell into a visionary vortex, the same vortex that led Matrix’s directors and authors to melting shreds of Western philosophy, a brain in a vat and Platonism, in order to give us a glimpse of our future. See you in a hundred years!
