Deorro: The Rise of a Musical Prodigy

Growing up in Los Angeles, Erick Orrosquieta, known by many as Deorro, would spend his days making music on his computer. Today, he is one of the biggest names in the electronic dance music (EDM) scene, known for his high-energy shows and chart-topping hits. In this article, we'll take a closer look at the musical biography of Deorro, from his humble beginnings to his most famous albums and songs.

Deorro's passion for music began at a young age, as he grew up learning to play instruments such as the piano and guitar. It wasn't until he discovered electronic dance music, however, that his career really took off. He started producing music in his teens, uploading tracks to SoundCloud under the moniker TON!C. It was his remix of Epic by Sandro Silva and Quintino that caught the attention of fans and industry professionals alike.

In 2012, Deorro released his first official single, Lie, and the following year he signed with Ultra Records. He quickly gained a reputation for his hard-hitting, festival-ready tracks like Yee and Five Hours. The latter became a fan favorite and was eventually remixed by Chris Brown into the chart-topping hit Don't Wake Me Up.

Deorro's first studio album, Good Evening, was released in 2015 and featured collaborations with artists such as Elvis Crespo and Adrian Delgado. The album showcased Deorro's versatility as a producer, with tracks ranging from the Latin-influenced Bailar to the trap-infused Sticking On My Mind.

In 2017, Deorro released his second album, Existence, which featured a more experimental sound. One standout track from the album was Rise and Shine, which featured his own vocals and showcased his songwriting abilities. The album also included collaborations with legendary Dutch producer Tiësto and rising star MAKJ.

Despite his success, Deorro remains grounded and committed to his fans. He continues to tour the world, playing shows and festivals from Coachella to Tomorrowland. His live shows are known for their energy and intensity, with Deorro often jumping around on stage and interacting with the crowd.

Deorro's journey to success has been marked by hard work, dedication, and a passion for music. From his early days producing tracks in his bedroom to selling out shows across the globe, Deorro has become one of the most iconic names in the electronic dance music scene. As he continues to experiment with different sounds and genres, we can't wait to see what the future holds for this musical prodigy.
