Ben Howard: history and sound
Benjamin John Howard is an acclaimed English singer-songwriter and musician, known for his emotive lyrics and distinctive sound. He began his career with the self-released EP 'Games in the Dark' in 2008, followed by 'These Waters' in 2009 and 'Old Pine' in 2010. After signing with Island Records, Howard released his debut studio album 'Every Kingdom' in 2011, which achieved commercial success, reaching number four on the UK Albums Chart and earning triple platinum certification from the BPI. He continued to build his discography with additional EPs, including 'Ben Howard Live' in 2011 and 'The Burgh Island E.P.' in 2012.
